Gas Compression & Re-injection Facility
KOC has commissioned SPETCO to design, build, test, commission, operate & maintain Gas Compression Package (GCP) near GC-28 at TP-4 using the gas from GC 16 & 28 and Gas Re-Injection Package (GRIP) near wells MN 129 & MN 140. The project is intended to increase the gas export capability and reduce the gas and condensate flaring in the Gathering Center 16 (GC-16), in line with the Kuwait Oil Company’s objective of achieving zero flaring.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Design, Engineering, Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Operations and Maintenance of Gas Compression Package (GCP) near GC-28 at TP-4 using the gas from GC 16 & 28 and Gas Re-Injection Package (GRIP) near wells MN 129 & MN 140.
- Detailed engineering of the GCP & GRIP and all associated facilities.
- Equipment Fabrication & Manufacturing
- Site Construction & commissioning of GCP & GRIP & related facilities.
- Operate the GCP & GRIP to deliver the gas to specifications required by KOC.
- Maintenance of GCP & GRIP
GCP & GRIP Facility comprises of:
- TV (compressor – 1no.) - 6 MMSCFD
- GCP (4 nos. compressors) - 40 MMSCFD
- GRIP (4 nos. compressors) - 60 MMSCFD for Gas re-injection
- Interconnecting pipelines total of 16 main lines
